A very unassuming bar given its minor presence from the street. Small area for sidewalk tables and a small building in general. However, its greatest asset is the beer garden in the back which is actually a fairly decent size with about 20 or so tables nestled between other businesses and dwellings. Even though you are surrounded by taller buildings in every direction, it&#39;s a large enough area to not feel trapped in. A small, but nicely curated selection of beer. The food seemed is decent, what you would expect to see at a bar. Since we were in the back and only walked through the small building, I don&#39;t recall seeing any TVs, or maybe they just weren&#39;t on. Not a place to go to watch a game, definitely more of a place to meet with friends and enjoy a few drinks outside.

The service at this restaurant is fantastic. I started to want to eat mushrooms and lamb dishes, and then temporarily changed my mind and ordered chicken. The chef actually carefully added a lot of grilled mushrooms to the side dishes. When I brought it up, I was surprised. It is known as the best Italian restaurant in Chicago. Roberts has also come! ​

We heard it gets busy quick here, so we got there a little earlier on a Friday afternoon (around 4) and were seated promptly. The outdoor tables were already taken, but they set us up inside and opened the large sliding window for an open air feel. While we sat next to the window, the A/C was strong enough that it was actually a bit chilly. Tables filled up quickly during our visit. Several large TVs with with multiple channels on, great for game day. Like many before me have said, very large beer selection with a decent assortment of spirits/liquors as well. I tried a few different craft beers and that&#39;s definitely the main draw of this place. She got a few cocktails, one of which was a Moscow Mule (her fav), but was lacking in strength. Decent prices for drinks. We also ordered food as well. The shareable Truffle Mac and Cheese was great. Definitely seemed house made and not just some sauce out of a can or jar mixed with macaroni. It was a fairly large portion size, probably meant for 4-6 people as we had about half of it left over for just the two of us. Our entrees were average, a salad and a burger. Nothing special about either, but nothing bad either if a bit expensive for what it was. Total bill for 4 drinks, 1 app, and 2 entrees ran us about $100. Service was great, she was quick and attentive with no issues. Overall, it&#39;s a good place to go to watch a game and try a few different craft beers, but I&#39;d eat elsewhere due to the price of food.

The title says it all. We were tourists but immediately felt welcome and the food was excellent. We&#39;ll be back!

Had relatively high hopes for this place. Mixed drinks were mostly ice and fairly tame. The mac and cheese with add-ins was awesome. It was piping hot, made to order, creamy, and there wasn&#39;t a bit left. Ordered the chicken and Brie sandwich, noted as a staff favorite. Description included Granny Smith apples, but sandwich came with Red Delicious slices. Pointed it out to server-no accommodation made. Didn&#39;t expect it to be comped, but there&#39;s a big difference between the taste, texture, and combination with the other sandwich components. My husband had the Brussels sprout salad, which he said was very good. Asked for decaf coffee--only had regular. We paid. Nice try. The bar was seeing some action--maybe we should have come for drinks instead.
